Moderator: Psicraft Tony
Hi,
I am trying to get my MPK mini to work but it i saying on my windows 7 x64 lap top that it cant find the drivers. I have looked everywhere online without success and have searched my laptop in the C and D drives for drivers but none can be found. In my device manager in control panel there is a yellow exclamation mark next to the which also says that no drivers can be found.
Can spomeone tell me where to get these drivers or firmware struff from so I can use my MPK mini please?
Thanks
Anthony

Sorry Anthony - We don't make the editor for MPK Mini. You should ask Akai Professional for help on this one since it's their software and their hardware.

Thanks for the quick response. By editor do you mean the software bundled with it? Im trying to get the MPK to work in FL studio 9 and was under the impression it was plug and play. I have scanned within FL for the midi device but nothing appears and I still get the message drivers cannot be found.
Seemed to work fine on an XP machine however? Any suggestions?
Sorry if im asking thr same question, bit of a noob.
Cheers

Anthony, I appreciate you need help for this issue but you have to ask Akai Professional this question.
1. Contrary to what you might think on this forum, we're not responsible for hardware tech support for Akai Professional controllers. We know a lot about MPK25, MPK49, MPK61 and MPK88 because we made the editors for them under contract to Akai Professional - This forum is for our editor tech support.
2. Psicraft Designs has no tech support knowledge of MPK Mini - The first we learned of its existence was when Akai released it last December.
I would help you if I could, but I don't have an MPK Mini, and frankly have no idea what goes on inside one. You'll need to contact Akai Professional for help on this one.
Now, should you go buy an MPK61 and have issues, come on back and I will happily help you out!
Cheers,
Tony

I have same problem here! I have identically same operating systems on my home pc and my work laptop, Windows 7 Ultimate, Service Pack 1, 64bit. My work laptop is Thinkpad T400 and my home laptop is Fujitsu Siemens Amilo pro. Amilo regonize MPK MINI right away and it's works lawless! But my Thinkpad not regonize my MPK MINI keyboard. That sucks. Can anybody help me? I already try different usb-ports, not working, same result.

I'll say it again, guys - MPK Mini does not ship with one of our editors. If you want any tech support for this low-budget device, you'll need to contact Akai Pro:
