M-Audio Midisport UNO incompatible

Postby imnotputtingit » Fri Oct 09, 2009 5:51 am

The M-Audio Midisport UNO is incompatible with the TC Electronic M350 under Windows XP. I followed all directions under the readme and Vyzor manuals. Installation of the Uno is fine. The Uno works fine with my other MIDI devices.
When I try to do the update of the M350 software with the Uno, I get a sysex data transfer error from the update tool
Thanks.

Have you downloaded the latest Uno drivers from M-Audio? Our Uno was acting quite strange for a while but it is back to full operation now that we have the latest drivers.

Hi,
Yes I downloaded the new drivers and still had problems. After several tries on both of my computers I ended up switching to the Midisport 2x2 Anniversary Edition which worked perfectly (after figuring out I had to push the USB/MIDI Through button on the front).
Thanks.

There was a certain run of Midisport UNO's that were recalled by M-Audio - Perhaps yours was one of these.
