vyzex vst

Postby dcpline6pp » Thu Feb 04, 2010 6:57 pm

Hi I have purchased the pocket pod. Is there any way to load the vyzex interface as vst in cubase?

Thanks

Our Vyzex editors are not plug-ins. They are EXclusively stand-alone... That's where the EX in Vyzex comes from.

Our Vyzor editors run as plug-ins OR as stand-alone editors.... That's where the OR in Vyzor comes from.

We will be releasing a Vyzor PocketPOD edition later in the year as an upgrade purchase in the Line 6 store: It should be priced at $19.99 and will provide plug-in VST and AU functionality with full parameter automation.

Hello. I am not proficient in English use the translator, so I ask for understanding.
I have yamha tyrosa2 and TC-Helicon voice works, I wanted to connect this kit to a laptop. Unfortunately my laptop does not detect the port settings in the port detects me out. Another issue once I managed to set the program in and out but there was no transmission between the laptop and the tc. the examination showed a value of 0 Can someone might help me. I would like to bring to this that all the settings in the presets of Heliconia can be set, manipulate, process in a laptop. :?:

Hi Szorter,

Your post belongs in the TC-Helicon VoiceWorks thread. Please post there next time.

You need to read your Tyros manual to learn how to set up the MIDI IN and MIDI OUT ports on the keyboard so that they act as an interface for your VoiceWorks. Next, you need to read the QuickStart.PDF guide to follow the connection diagrams for your MIDI Cables and to learn how to configure your VoiceWorks global MIDI settings to work with the software. Finally, if this does not work, you need to open the 'MIDI->MIDI IN Ports' dialog and make sure your Tyros MIDI IN and Tyros MIDI out ports are available. You can take a screen capture and post them here if you are not sure.

That sounds just like what I'm looking for, especially as it relates to full parameter automation. I would like to be able to do this with my FCB1010 midi pedal board within cubase. I can somewhat control the PP with the FCB/Tascam midi interface as standalone but it's hit and miss as far as being able to control presets and parameters. Any idea as to when this year, it may be available? If you need a beta tester, I would be willing to do that as well.

Thanks for the info Tony.

Thanks Tony. When do you expect Vyzor PocketPod to be released? I would be willing to beta test it if you need someone. I currently have my FCB1010 hooked up to my Tascam Midi interface and I'm able to quite easily change many parameters within presets with it however, my patch changes don't seem to want to switch on the PP using the pedalboard. I can see them switching in Vyzex but they are not switching on the PP although I can change various parameters no problem and they take effect right away on both Vyzex and the PP. Any ideas on why that would be?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Denis,

I suppose the problem is that your program changes are not being echoed through to the PocketPOD... Hmmm.... I will have the guys look into this and will contact you directly (via email) with a patch to try if we can get one made to address this.

Thanks Tony, greatly appreciated.

Sorry about the double post. I didn't realize it had to get approved until I submitted the second one. I thought the first one got lost in cyberspace!

Take care,

D.

Hi Tony, I've been playing a bit with midi communication between my FCB1010, my Tascam US-122L midi interface, my PocketPod and the Vyzex software. I've found several more 'glitches' as far as Vyzex is concerned or so it seems it's Vyzex. For example I've set up the 1010 with the midi cc codes and values to switch amp models, and these worked OK up until value 27 (Modern HiGain #2). After that the Vyzex software showed the correct model on the gui for values 28 and 30 but it didn't play the correct model. As well, for values 29 and 31, it only displayed and played the Modern HiGain #2 model. I've come across a few other bugs but don't remember them off hand. I'm thinking that these are Vyzex related because when I plug a midi track into cubase, the 1010 seems to switch to the correct amp models on the PP even though I don't have a gui to confirm that.

If you want me to keep reporting these, let me know. I can also communicate these to you via email directly if you prefer.

Hi Denis,

Sounds like you caught one for us. I'll email you directly to set up a conversation thread for anything else you come across and we'll see what we can do to resolve any issues you encounter.

Cheers,
