Cubase SX3 Plugin Init failes

Hi

Im getting 2 errors while the Plugin intialization in Cubase 4:

TMmidiquestmfxresources.dll failed to load
uniquestvst.dll failed to load

And the Plugin is not listed in Cubase. What can i do?

Hi Sven,

Please wait for the free V2 upgrade to be available in the next month - This will address any issues you have running the editor as a plug-in under Cubase 4.

Tony, could you explain these errors, please. Because i tested 3 different computers with XPsp2 and sp3; Cubase4 and SX3. And i always got these errors about the 2 failing files. I found the uniquestvst.dll in the SoundQuest directory. But TMmidiquestmfxresources.dll is missing completly.

So, what can i try to run the VST Plug now?

Sven, our website is very clear about the plugin's limited compatibility with the latest hosts : Hosts such as Cubase 4 were released AFTER Vyzor Evolver v1 and were not available for when we released the editor. All prospective buyers are warned to wait for V2 if VST plug-in operation in a recent host is their critical use case, not to mention if they are running an intel Mac.

I hope you appreciate that if we were to spend any time trying to debug and patch the old version of the editor to run under Cubase 4, it would rob critical development time from our efforts to release the V2 free update which is the real solution to your issue. I sympathize that you are frustrated we have not released V2 yet, but you are just going to have to be patient about this. In the meantime, we are concentrating on getting out the best possible product in the shortest amount of time.

I have the same problem in SX3. And i cant imagine that a missing file error is caused by wrong cubase version.

And i test to load the Vyzor in a VST-Host "Chainer" - suprise... the same 2 missing files error appeared.

I searched manually but both files on my harddrive manually - nothing. Are you shure that this is caused by a wrong Cubase version?

I want my money back! The plugin is not working in ANY VST Host. No response to my questions regarding the failing files errors. All what we get is a promise for a new version, but i dont belive that this version will be released in the next time.

Once again, you've been offered a refund several times over this issue (Cubase 4 was released after Vyzor Evolver 1.0) if you don't want to wait for the release of Vyzor Evolver Legacy. You also have my private email so if you wish to take me up on this I will get you refunded and off the free upgrade list.

It was not my intention to get my money back. I asked you a specific question regarding 2 file errors.
And i already told that the same error occurs at EVERY VST-HOST ( Cubase SX3 too). You never mentioned this files in your answers.

When i´m starting the plugin in CUBASE SX3 AT A NORMAL PC (not a Mac), 2 errors appear:
