My Akai MPD32 won't recognize in windows 7.

I have looked on your forum for informaton regarding the akai mpd 32 have have tried what was stated. I still have yet to get it to recognize. I have went though the step on the site and the troubleshooting manual. Now I'm stuck please help!

When you open the 'MIDI->MIDI IN Ports' dialog in the Vyzex editor, can you see the MPD32 MIDI ports? How about the MIDI Out Ports dialog?

Also, have you tried your unit with another computer to see if the same problem is happening there?

I have it now, I got it to work in windows 7, but now I'm back with XP. I didn't look for the driver on the C: drive. I let it search on it's own and it keep coming up wrong. So instead I searched the c: drive and it found it on it's own. Thanks though found the solution in A old forum for A problem with the mpd 24 and vista.
