Editor problems

Postby keyboardman » Sun Feb 28, 2010 7:51 am

Howdy

Fired up the editor this morning and ran into a few problems. It gives me the following errors on startup:

*Error reading SQEditor config file
*Studio Error! There are no drivers in Akai Professional MPK88-61.ini to load

If I check the MIDI in and out, the editor sees the MPK61. If I play or move controllers, it shows up in the monitor but I can't get any banks to or from the keyboard and the editor window doesn't show up.

The MPK shows up in the AudioMIDI setup and otherwise works normally.

I removed the application and preferences and reinstalled to the same problem.

It works fine with WinXP under VMWare.

Running a MacBook Pro, 1 with 10.5.8

Thanks.

Did you change the name of your Mac's Root drive by any chance, or otherwise drag the program or support folders to different locations?

Try following the manual uninstall directions given here:

http://www.vyzor.com/support/viewtopic.php?f=45&t=179

Then let us know how it goes after you reinstall the editor.
