G Major 2 VYZOR editor
Moderator: Psicraft Tony
Hey guys MAC OSX 10.5 TIGER, is really old.
How about updating the G major editor so I can actually use it on my MacBook Pro, which runs 10.6 and has done since I bought it a couple of years ago.
I bought the G major 2 SPECIFICALLY, because it came with an editor, that so far wont run. Therefore I also CANNOT update my firmware either
Cheers

The G Major 2 Vyzor editor works on Snow Leopard as well. Who said it didn't?
The firmware updater on the other hand is a TC-Electronic software product - and that might have issues on Snow Leopard. Updating that is outside of our control I am afraid. Does it not work on your Snow Leopard machine?
I will have our test guys run the Vyzor G-Major 2 editor under Snow Leopard this week and will post back here if any update is necessary.

Hi there, I think 10.5 was leopard, not Tiger, sorry.
But, yes, I'm running 10.6 Snow leopard, and it keeps crashing on startup before it eevn loads. Maybe if I send you the crash report, it might help. But it runs on leopard ok, because I tried it on a friends machine that has 10.5.
Look forward to any advice, thanks.

Ok we'll look into this further. I'll let you know what we find out. No need to send the crash log.

Update for you - No issues on our systems running 10.6.5.
Is your System hard drive named something unusual involving non ASCII standard characters or folder '/' type characters perhaps?
If not, have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the program? The instructions for manual uninstall are here:

Please let us know how it goes.
