my venom patterns are not loading on editer?

i have the 1.11 version running on mac 10.5.8 and the pattern section on the editor says "RESERVED FOR FUTURE EXPANSION" why does it say this ?

when i load the software up (with everything plugged in correctly) i get a message saying my 1.11 version is all up to date, i have been reading some topic posts and you are private messaging people the latest versions 1.15 and 1.17 why is this not available for all venom owners or have i missed something important.

i love your product and i am very glad i picked this synth out of the 3 i was looking at e.g gaia , ultranova and one of the main reasons i chose this synth was the ease of use and the software editor looked and is so good to use just want my arp patterns as this was a big seller for me.

with this issue resolved i would be much happier about my purchase

It says this because a pattern editor is a whole other piece of software that was not covered under the budget supplied by Avid M-Audio. Vyzex Venom is a Single, Multi and Global parameter editor, and while it also allows you to edit the Arp headers of each pattern and provides ultra-comprehensive management of these patterns, it does not actually edit the musical events within the patterns.

Sigh. It should be obvious that v1.15 and v1.17 are not yet official releases - I am making them available on this forum to anyone who asks nicely, which if you look around you'll see has happened a lot in the last six months while we wait for Avid/M-Audio to complete their testing process on these software releases.

I'll take your post as asking nicely. Check your private messages for access details to the pre-release updates.

NOTE: If you are on Windows you MUST uninstall the version you currently have first. Don't forget this!

Thanks Nic - Positive words are always appreciated and returned here. As I said above, though the lack of a pattern editor is not an issue - The free editor supplied with Venom simply does not have these features by design in order to make all the other features economically possible.

...A future retail upgrade to Vyzor Venom will have a very nice pattern editor as part of its feature set, but everyone is going to have to wait for this to be released later next year.
